4. Edit product recommendations and complementary products. – Swissuplabs

With the Charge theme, you can show the Product Recommendations and Complementary products separately.

Product Recommendations

The Customer also bought block includes items that were bought together with the item user is currently viewing. This way your store recommends these products to customers which may drive a second purchase.

Go to Online Store - Product page - Product recommendations. Within the Charge theme configuration, it is possible to:

Specify a heading for the block and set the Heading level. Learn more about the correct Heading usage for SEO.
Set the number of products to be shown per page.
Show the Recommendations products using the Shopify App.
Manually select recommendation products.
Enable swiping on mobile.
Choose the UI type between Buttons and Scrollbar.
Customize the product card settings.
Enable on-scroll reveal animation.

Complementary products

You can show complementary products using the Shopify App on the product page. This way you will offer visitors products that are complementary to a product the user is interacting with.

You can also set them manually via Charge theme configuration. Go to the Online Store - Product page - Complementary products. Within the Charge theme configuration, it is possible to:

Specify a heading for the block and set the Heading level. Learn more about the correct Heading usage for SEO.
Show the products using the Shopify App.
Manually select complementary products.
Enable swiping on mobile.
Choose the UI type between Buttons and Scrollbar.
Customize the product card settings.
Enable on-scroll reveal animation.

Since the 2.5.0 release, you can show the complementary products in the Pair well with block right in the product information section.

Within the Charge theme configuration, it is possible to:

Change the heading.
Show the block as collapsible.
Select the icon for the block.
Set the maximum number of products to show.
Show complementary products as a slider.
Show the border top and bottom.
Customize the product card settings.
