Predictive search

The Charge theme improves the default Shopify search bar with a predictive search. Your customers will see the suggested results related to user queries right after they type into the search field.

Here, it is possible:

• Enable predictive search.
• Set the minimal query length, or in other words, the number of characters typed in the search bar.
• Show product tax info.
• Show collections.
• Show pages.
• Show blogs.
• Show button View all.
• Show popular suggestions.
• Enable filter by collections. The option has been available since 3.0.0. release.

Note: You have to complete the next steps to make the option work:

• Go to the Shopify dashboard - Collections, and open the collection you want to add the predictive search to.
• Then you have to open each product and focus on the Product Organization block on the right.
• You have to specify the collection name here. Remember to enter the name of the collection the product relates to.

• Repeat steps for every product.

That's it. Now you can go back and enable filter by collections.
