Edit product tabs in Shopify

Generally, you can add up to 6 custom tabs to your Shopify product page. You can enable/disable each block by using the visibility badge.

By default, the Charge theme demo shows the following tabs: Product Description, Frequently Asked Questions, and Customer reviews. In addition, you can enable Similar products, Details, and Custom Liquid tab.

Before customizing each tab, you have to configure the general settings of the product tabs. Here it is possible to:

• Choose a layout for product tabs between Expanded and Collapsed.
• Enable on-scroll reveal animation.

Then use the advanced product tab configuration of the Charge theme to show much more information on the product page without sending users to another page.  

Settings for customizing the Frequently Asked Questions tab

Here it is possible to:

• Add the title for the FAQ block.
• Show an example for the question/answer.
• Add a link to the FAQ page of your store.

Settings for customizing the Product Description and Details tab

Here it is possible to:

• Specify a heading for the Product Description tab.
• Specify a heading for the Details tab.
• Select the position of the details. Available values are Show product details in the list and Show product details in the row.

Settings for customizing the Customer Reviews tab

• Create a heading for the tab with customer reviews. Since the 1.6 release, our theme has supported the Judgeme review app.

Settings for customizing the Similar Products tab

• Create a heading for the upsell products tab. 
• Select the products to promote.
• Enable to promote “random” products when there is nothing to show.
• Set the number of products to be shown per page.
• Customize the product card. Here you can show color swatches, set the badge size, choose the image ratio, and show Add to Cart.
• Enable swiping on mobile.
• Choose the UI type between Buttons and Scrollbar.

Settings for customizing the Custom Liquid tab

Since 2.7.1 release we added the ability to show the meta field value for the type Text with Custom Liquid block in the product tab. 

This option allows you to show shipping instructions for products, information on packing material, food composition table, etc. With this tab, it is easier to highlight the benefits of your product for more ecommerce conversions.

Here it is possible to:

• Create a heading for the tab. 
• Insert a code.
• Specify the name of the metafields value. 

Note: first, you have to create a custom meta field in the Shopify settings. To make the field value visible in the product tab, you should only specify the name of the created meta field. The Charge theme option will render the meta field content automatically.
