Add a pop-up banner via overlay settings

The Relax theme allows for creating Shopify popups. It will help collect emails, promote new arrivals, and generally improve conversions. No app is required.

Go to the Online store - Homepage - Overlay.

Within the configuration it is possible to:

• Add a text for the popup.
• Show the Subscribe to Newsletter form and enter the additional text here.
• Add the image for the popup banner.
• Set the link to the image.
• Choose the image position between Underneath and On Left.
• Set the condition when the popup appears. You can show a popup Immediately and On exit intent. In case you choose the value Immediately, the popup appears once the page is loaded.
• Set the popup banner frequency. The possible values are Once per day and Once per week.

Note: A popup will be shown unless the user clicks on the close button (X). Once a visitor clicks close, the action is stored in the browser's local storage. Pay attention to the popup option "Frequency". If the popup has a frequency of "once per day" and the user closes it with an X button, then the next time the user can see it only the next day. The same condition is for frequency "once per week". Next time users can see the popup when the current week ends.

Note: Once you change a popup block settings all data about it will be reset for all users. The popup will be shown for visitors even if he/she closed it earlier.
