The image sizes used in the Relax theme

To improve your store performance, we optimized images used in the Relax theme. They look nice both on the desktop and mobile devices. In the Relax theme demo, we adhere to the image standards within the acceptable range offered by Shopify. Here you can see more image guidelines.

To keep delivering a good experience for your clients, please follow the image standards. You can still edit image sizes according to your requirements but in the permitted range.

Relax theme image sizes

Slider image

The Relax theme slideshow is full-width. The recommended width is 1920. The theme will properly resize images for smaller screens.

Banner image

Please use the following sizes:

• 1120px - for "Image banner" with "Show underlayer" option enabled.
• 1176px - for "Image banner" with "Show underlayer" option disabled.

Please note

Shopify recommends using JPEG standards for product images and PNG for logos, trims, and borders. It would be nice for the quality value and the image effect on page load times. Then Shopify converts all images in the WebP and AVIF formats on their server-side whenever browsers support it. WebP files are up to 30% smaller than their .jpg or .png equivalents.

Remember that you can always verify the image format in a network panel. Please always select the appropriate image quality and dimensions.
