Go to the Online Store and click on the Footer section first.
It is possible to change the general settings and theme settings for the footer:
- Show the footer section in full width.
- Set the custom width using the range.
- Show the footer logo.
- Select the image for the logo and set the logo width.
- Set the social icons' width.
- Enable collapsed block on mobile. The option is available from the 1.4.0 release.
- Show background elements.
- Add a design image.
- Show newsletter in a row.
- Enable on-scroll reveal animation.
Then you can see 7 blocks added to the Divine theme footer by default: Footer Contacts, About Us, Explorer, Collections, Customer Service, General Info, and Newsletter.
- The Footer Contacts block includes the options to specify the address, Show the contact email, and Show the contact phone.
- The Explorer, Collections, Customer Service, and General Info are quick link blocks that allow you to create a Heading and select the menus to be shown in the footer links.
- The About Us block allows for creating a Heading and adding a Subtext.
- In the Newsletter form, you can create a Heading and specify a Subtext.
NOTE: if you want the newsletter form shown to the right (as in our demo), please make changes in the Custom Styles field. Here you must paste the next code:
@media (min-width: 990px) {
.footer-contacts__newsletter {
margin-top: -5rem;
}
}
Now click the Footer Bottom section.
Here you can change the general settings:
- Show the footer section in full width.
- Set the custom width using the range.
- Show payment icons.
- Set the payment icon saturation.
- List payment icons. This option enables the display of your custom payment icons. You have to download the icon's image to the Shopify Content Files first. Then go back to the Footer configuration and enter the icons name using the command separator (e.g. - mastercard.jpg,visa.jpg,apple.png).
- Control custom icon width.
- Enable Follow on Shop.
- Show policy. First, you should create or customize policies via Shopify Admin - Settings - Policies. Then the policy links will appear after the copyright link after enabling the checkbox in the footer configuration.
The Divine theme footer bottom has two added blocks by default: Copyright and Quick links.
- The Copyright block allows you to enter a text.
- The Quick Links allows for setting up the Heading and selecting the menu to be shown in footer links.
Note: take into account that you can add blocks or remove the existing ones according to your wishes. You can also use a visibility badge to show/hide each block or section.
